Each MINTOZYME softgel capsule contains diastase 50mg and pepsin 10mg.
MINTOZYME is the brand name for the digestive aid that effectively treats flatulence, indigestion and sour stomach. This combination will stimulate carbohydrate and protein digestion and aid the absorption of the essential nutrients in the intestine. It acts as an energy booster and enhances the immune system.
Fungal diastase is a starch-digesting enzyme that catalyzes the breakdown of starch to maltose. Fungal diastase in combination with pepsin works as an effective appetite stimulant by speeding up the digestion and improving the absorption.
Pepsin is the active form of protein digestion enzyme, pepsinogen. Pepsin breaks down larger protein molecules into smaller peptide molecules and promotes faster absorption. This way, this combination prevents indigestion and abdominal distension.
