Each EAZYMOR tablet contains doxylamine succinate 10mg and pyridoxine hydrochloride10mg
EAZYMOR is the brand name for the antiemetic combination that is used to treat nausea and vomiting- commonly observed in pregnant women. EAZYMOR is a delayed-release tablet for women who do not respond adequately to conservative management of nausea and vomiting during the gestation period.
Doxylamine belongs to the class of the first-generation antihistamine. It works as an antagonist of histamine H1 receptor. It also prevents the activity of the endogenous histamine and reduces the levels of basophils and mast cells. This drug is anticholinergic in nature.
Pyridoxine, which is also known as vitamin B6, is known to relieve hypertension, lower the total cholesterol levels and aid carbohydrate and protein metabolism. Its other functions include synthesis of hemoglobin, nucleic acids, neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, GABA, etc. It is one of the crucial vitamins during pregnancy.

EAZYMOR tablet is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity towards doxylamine succinate and pyridoxine hydrochloride, asthma, peptic ulcers, porphyria, active bleeding disorders, hepatic impairment, renal impairment and UTI.
Adverse effects of this medicine include stomach upset, diarrhea, constipation, blurred vision, shortness of breath, headache, trouble in sleeping (insomnia), sleepiness, drowsiness, dizziness, fast heartbeat, fatigue, irritability, anxiety, difficulties while urinating, itching and rashes.
Care should be taken while prescribing EAZYMOR tablets to patients who are suffering from respiratory tract related disorders, ulcers, and intestinal blockage.
Alcoholic beverages should be avoided while on EAZYMOR, else it may lead to drowsiness.
