CALTODAY is a bone-strengthening combination of the essential vitamins and calcium that ideally supports the bone health. Deficiency of calcium and vitamin D3 could lead to weakened bones and increased risks of bone fractures. Bone remodeling is the process of replacement of mature bone tissue with new bone tissue and this is a lifelong process and vitamins and minerals are imperative for this phenomenon.

Calcium is essential for optimum bone health. Calcium along with vitamin D3 maintains bone integrity and prevents osteoporosis. This combination decreases bone turnover and prevents bone loss. Vitamin D3 increases the absorption of calcium in the GI tract and impacts the bone health.

High levels of homocysteine are associated with defective bone matrix and osteoporosis. B type vitamins, especially, vitamin B6 breaks down homocysteine and prevent the build-up of this amino acid metabolite. Niacinamide prevents osteoarthritis and promotes joint health. B-type vitamins promote bone health by increasing the bone mass and bone density. According to the studies, vitamin B12 is also observed to have a positive effect on the osteocytes or the bone-building cells.

This combination prevents the weakening of the bones and ensures better absorption of calcium, vitamin D3 and other vital nutrients.
