Levocetirizine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.
PRIMOCET Syrup is indicated for treatment of symptoms associated with allergic conditions such as seasonal allergic rhinitis, perennial allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria.

PRIMOCET Syrup is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to this medication or to any of its ingredients.
Caution should be exercised in patients with difficulty urinating (such as due to an enlarged prostate), kidney disease. This drug may make you drowsy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires alertness until you are sure you can perform such activities safely. Avoid alcoholic beverages.
GI side-effects are uncommon. Occasionally, if excessive amount is consumed, diarrhea, constipation or regurgitation may occur.
This medication may be harmful to an unborn baby. Consult a physician if one is pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment. It is not known whether potassium passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medication without telling a physician while breast-feeding a baby.
NOVALKA is available as syrup. Every 5 ml contains Potassium citrate 1000 mg and Citric Acid 300 mg. The total content in each bottle is 100 ml.
