Folic Acid OSFOL Softgel

Uses

Folic acid is used for the treatment of: anemia due to folic acid deficiency caused by poor diet, poor absorption of food or increased requirement of folate in the body (as in pregnancy). For prevention of: folate deficiency caused by some medicines and folate deficiency caused by long-term red blood cell damage or kidney dialysis.

How it works

Folic acid is a component of the B group of vitamins and is necessary for the normal production and maturation of red blood cells.

Common side effects

Difficulty in breathing, Skin rash, Redness of skin, Itching

METHYLCOBALAMINE

Uses

Methylcobalamin is an active form of vitamin B12, which is used to treat anemia as well as nerve damage with numbness, tingling, pain in various neurological disorders.

How it works

Methylcobalamin plays a key role in recovery process of damaged nerve cells and also it maintainins proper function of nerve cells.

Common side effects

Generally methylcobalamin is well tolerated. however, A few side effects like gastrointestinal discomfort and rash may be seen after administration

How it works

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is a long-chain unsaturated fatty acid that is a member of the omega-3 family of fatty acids. DHA plays an important role in brain and retinal development in infants. It is also the most abundant unsaturated fatty acid found in the brain.
