Each 10mL of MINTOZYME syrup contains fungal diastase 50mg and pepsin 10mg.
MINTOZYME is the brand name for the digestive aid that effectively treats indigestion and sour stomach. MINTOZYME syrup stimulates carbohydrate and protein digestion and aids the absorption of the essential nutrients in the intestine. This combination is an effective appetite stimulant.
Fungal diastase is a starch-hydrolyzing enzyme which breaks down complex starch molecules to maltose. On the other hand, pepsin is a protein-digesting enzyme that breaks down larger protein molecules into smaller peptides. This combination also improves the immune system and serves as an energy booster.
