Each film coated tablet contains:

  • Aceclofenac 100 mg
  • Paracetamol 325 mg

DESCRIPTION

Aceclofenac is a glycolic acid ester of diclofenac. It has an outstanding anti-inflammatory profile mediated primarily through inhibition of COX activity and suppression of prostaglandin (PGE2) synthesis.

Paracetamol is a para-aminophenol derivative, produces antipyresis by acting on the hypothalamic heat regulating center and analgesia by elevating the pain threshold. Paracetamol is a safe and effective analgesic-antipyretic agent with minimal effect on cardiovascular,respiratory and GI system.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

The combination is contraindicated in alcoholics as there is increased risk of liver damage.

Fenpill tablet should be contraindicated in patients taking high doses of carbamazepine,hydantoin as there is increased risk of toxicity.
