Triple power towards healing process

Each FENPILL-S tablet contains aceclofenac 100mg, paracetamol 325mg and serratiopeptidase 10mg.

Description:

FENPILL-S is the brand name for the anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic combination that suppresses the pain and swelling associated with different types of inflammation.

Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that possesses strong anti-inflammatory properties. Aceclofenac treats different types of arthritis namely, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and gouty arthritis. This drug interferes with cyclooxygenase pathway and inhibits the production of prostaglandins and other inflammatory mediators from arachidonic acid. Reduced levels of prostaglandins are helpful in reducing the pain and inflammation.

Paracetamol is a strong analgesic agent which works by increasing the threshold for pain. It reduces mild to moderate pain such as toothache, back pain and nerve pain, fever, common cold etc. In the brain, paracetamol reduces the prostaglandin levels and reduces the pain. It also reduces the sensitivity of the pain receptors in the infected area.

Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme that is derived from Serratia sp. E-15, which was first isolated from the intestine of the silkworm. It possesses strong proteolytic and fibrinolytic effects. Serratiopeptidase’s mechanism of action involves hydrolysis of histamines, cytokines, bradykinin and serotonin, which eventually leads to reduced pain and swelling that are associated with inflammation. Serratiopeptidase improves the microcirculation, removes the cellular debris and rapidly act on the site of inflammation.
