Cherisitol-M Tablets

Cherisitol-M Tablets

Composition:

Each tablet of CHERISITOL-M contains myo-inositol 600mg and metformin 500mg

Description:

CHERISITOL-M is helpful in the treatment of female infertility, high cholesterol levels and type-2 diabetes. Myo-inositol is synthesized in both plants and animals and its key function is to act as a secondary messenger in various signal transduction pathways within the cell. Metformin, which is a biguanide antihyperglycemic agent, works by reducing the glucose production in the liver.

Myo-inositol:

Myo-inositol exhibits insulin mimetic properties to fight against the insulin resistance in the body. Myo-inositol can improve the fertility in females by addressing the hormonal imbalance in women. Hormonal imbalance in females can lead to abnormal glucose levels, as body fails to react with primary messenger, insulin. Increased glucose level is followed by several other serious health complications like high blood pressure, higher levels of cholesterol and weight gain. As a potent “secondary messenger”, myo-inositol improves the circulatory system and protects the heart against various cardiovascular disorders. This biomolecule also exhibits anxiolytic and anti-depressant effects and is helpful in alleviating the PMS symptoms in women.

Metformin:

Metformin controls the blood glucose levels by decreasing the hepatic glucose production, reducing the glucose absorption by the intestine and boosting the insulin-mediated glucose uptake. Metformin is also said to have a positive effect on the lipid levels. It makes the body more sensitive to the insulin that it is already being produced in the body. Metformin also stands as a first line treatment for female infertility and it is highly helpful in restoring ovulation, reducing weight, reducing the androgen levels in the blood and reducing the risk of miscarriages.
