Description:

CALTODAY is a formulation specially designed to address calcium deficiencies and promote bone health. It is enriched with two important trace elements- magnesium and zinc, whose key role is to maintain the bone density and the normal functions of the bones.

Calcium, magnesium and zinc are highly essential for the bone health. Calcium is necessary for the maintenance of bone mass and to support the skeletal structure. Calcium is the major constituent of the bones, but magnesium is necessary for the formerís absorption and metabolism. Magnesium is also necessary for the conversion of vitamin D3 into its active form - calcitriol. Magnesium, as a trace element contributes to bone mineralization, which again is essential for the structural and functional roles of the bones. The trace element zinc is involved in collagen synthesis in the bone tissue. Collagen plays a signification role in bone tissue regeneration and bone remodeling.

Vitamin D3 and calcium are interdependent nutrients that control each otherís absorption and metabolism.
